Pioneer DVJ-1000 Pro DVD Video/CD Deck

Get the best of both CD and DVD worlds scratch, loop and cue both audio and video with the DVJ-1000.

Offering the same operation and layout as the CDJ-1000MK3, but with enhanced DVD specifications, you can easily create and add visuals to your set. Manipulate DVDs as you would music - digital video scratches, loops and instant cues are all possible.

You can perform audio-only sets while having the option to mix in DVD, with a powerful and versatile range of effects. The best of both worlds.

Additional features include MP3 compatibility, a brighter and larger wave display, studio quality 96kHz/24-bit audio and several new innovations like 4 x hyper jog mode and a back and forth loop button. Its a globetrotter, too - playing both NTSC and PAL DVDs using a built-in standards converter; ideal if you`re working with DVDs from both Europe and the States.

Pioneers` unique patented Multiple Video Blending Technology makes it possible to offer a mixer that is capable of 4-channel synchronised audio and video mixing.
Audio and video in each channel can be controlled in various ways (such as by fader or EQ), and this makes it possible to complete a synchronised AV performance via conventional DJM mixing methods.
Whats more, because there is a facility for sound-only or visual-only control, users can create performances according to their individual preferences.
When switching the video, the SVM-1000s cross fader is capable of various effects such as FADE, WIPE and CHROMA-KEY. This presents boundless possibilities in terms of mixing, remixing or scratching at the assigned channel.
AV Effect Function opens up a new world of audio and video manipulation Within the SVM-1000s 11-inch LCD touch panel (conveniently located front centre) is an AV Effect section, which enables the synchronisation of audio effects and video effects.
This function is capable of 30 patterns of effects on the audio and/or visual side, meaning that you can create countless combinations of effects. Each effect can be selected via an animated icon button for an easier (visual) understanding of the effect, thereby allowing DJs to instantly select the best effect for their performance.
