Carrying on from the success of the fantastic Eon Series of speakers, jbl have launched their new Eon 500 series. This Eon 515 is a lightweight 15, two-way powerful active speaker with a 3 channel built-in mixer in! Connect a cd player/ipod/mini-disc player, a microphone, then use the mixers volume controls to get a perfect mix. This is ideal for anyone wanting a compact set-up. Using a Class-d integrated amplifier this small speaker packs a punch, with 450 watts (rms) of full bandwidth sound at high levels. Dedicated eq presets let you match the output to that of your playout, meaning if your using them for conferences you have a preset to reduce the lower frequencies, which is ideal for speeches and vocal work. The Eon 515 has plenty of mounting options, make use of either the 36mm top hat fitting, the 45 monitor orientation or the m10 rigging points to make this speaker fit into any of your set-ups.
